The Vestas V27 is a medium sized wind turbine that is perfectly suited to installation by private companies wishing to generate their own renewable energy. The component weights and sizes also mean that it can be erected in confined sites without the need for lots of temporary works or infrastructure. EK Marine Ltds 110 ton Faun Tadan mobile crane is perfectly suited to lift the individual components during assembly of the V27 turbines with the 11 ton nacelle being well within its lift capacity yet still being small enough to fit into the smaller sites which these turbines are often sited at. EK Marine Crane Hire provides a heavy lifting service through out the North and West of Ireland operating from depots in Killybegs, Sligo, Letterkenny and L’Derry.
