Ocean Farm of Killybegs, County Donegal commissioned us to design and build a replacement marine crane to maximise the capabilities of their aquaculture work vessel the Ocean Wave.
The supplied EKM folding knuckle boom crane has a maximum lift of 3 tons at 11m which is achieved with a 2 extension jib. It is equipped with a hydraulic winch and radio remote control. The stainless steel marine slew ring has been specified to allow the crane to work at its maximum capacity at sea.
This contract cements a working relationship between the 2 companies that’s existed for 25 years with EK Marine providing engineered solutions for the leading County Donegal aquaculture company.
