EK Marine Ltd designed, manufactured and installed the deck equipment and hydraulic control system working closely with the designer, S C McAllister, the owners Iain and Charles Duthie and the Builders Parkol Marine Ltd
Project Detail
EK Marine Ltd designed and manufactured the deck equipment and specified the load sensing hydraulic control system which was installed by Parkol Marine Ltd.
EKM 3 Barrel Trawl Winch, 35t line pull with hydraulic guiding on, manually opertaed clutches and brakes with drum capacities of 750 fathoms of 22mm wire.
2 x EKM Double Split Net Drums 6m3 capacity with 11.5 ton pull
1 x EKM 8 ton Gilson Winch mounted on the fore deck
2 x Rotzler Gilson Winches mounted on the aft gantry.
1 x Knuckle boom power block crane capacity of 1.5t @ 6.7m, 360 degree slewing with deck mounted controls
1 x EKM Landing Crane 8m fixed boom lifting capacity of 1 ton @ 8m and capable of 360 degree continuous slewing.
